In these pages, I present myself: my thoughts, my feelings and my reality; a reality that has brought together both the Orient and the West. I was born in Lebanon and raised in the UK, where I spent most of my life. Cultural diversity has always been characteristic of my family, which has lived in various countries, including Nigeria, Venezuela and Ireland. My reality, therefore, is a blend of contrasting influences that I have both consciously and subconsciously expressed in my artwork. Art for me is a way of making sense of the contradictions that surround me. It is a means of making my daydreams tangible and is part of what is ever-changing and never constant.
